“The plain fact is that the planet does not need more successful people. But it does desperately need more peacemakers, healers, restorers, storytellers, and lovers of every kind. It needs people who live well in their places. It needs people of moral courage willing to join the fight to make the world habitable and humane. And these qualities have little to do with success as we have defined it.” - David W. Orr, Ecological Literacy: Educating Our Children for a Sustainable World
We are here to help you heal and maintain vitality.
Vitality- “the state of being strong and active; energy; the power giving continuance of life, present in all living things”
My name is Nickie Kennedy and I am so excited to share with Arizona, and hopefully the world, an incredible new approach to healthcare.

I have been blessed to know Dr. Bollmann for over 40 years, long before she was Dr. Bollmann. Wonderful memories of listening to the GoGo’s and playing with dollhouses and having sleepovers. Admiring her ability to stand out as the smartest person in the classroom since she was a tiny thing in first grade. When she asked me to take part in this incredible journey of spreading love, kindness, and health to the world, I was honored and thrilled to join her team. Family comes first for myself and my husband, and we have been very blessed to enjoy these three amazing humans we have raised. They have grown up so fast that I cherish any moment I can spend with them. My family has been so patient and accommodating with the many little furry souls we have saved, as I have a passion for animals; particularly horses. I have spent my life raising, showing, and loving these incredible majestic creatures. Myself and my daughters are vegetarian and we have a desire to sustain our planet and live a healthy life. I have long awaited an opportunity to educate our community in a new dimension of healthcare and look forward to the life changes of Dr. Bollmann’s work.

Alyssa sees yoga as a journey of the self. “Yoga re-sets our internal compass. To face yourself and go inward—guiding us back to ourselves." Her path as a teacher began in 2014, under the guidance of Jennifer Chiarelli, Anton Mackey, and Desiree Grobstein. She taught in San Francisco for three years, before making her way back to the valley early this year. Alyssa’s classes are a sequenced to unite our physical elements with the non-physical. Paring guided breathe work, with anatomical flow-movement, and yogic philosophy, to create a deeper practice. “My ultimate goal as a teacher is to facilitate a space for us to feel like we are coming home, the moment we step onto the mat.”

Hamid works primarily with sound as a means of expanding consciousness and facilitating self-healing. Hamid takes a multi-disciplinary approach to all of his teachings, drawing from his studies of both Eastern and Western traditions. He has spent the better part of his adult life investigating the practical systems of Yoga, Ayurveda, Buddhism, Thai bodywork, Japanese energy work, Amazonian plant medicines, and other traditional healing methods. Every discipline incorporates sound in some manner as part of the healing process, and in many of the traditions it is actually the sound that is doing the work. Hamid continues to learn on a daily basis, usually spending 3-4 months of the year traveling and doing fieldwork.
Hamid's formal Western education includes a Doctorate degree from UCLA and Bachelor of Music degree from NYU. He holds the highest available designation with Yoga Alliance as an E-RYT 500, certifying over 500 hours of training and 2,000+ hours of teaching. Hamid co-created the 200-hour and 300-hour Yoga Teacher Training Programs at Urban Yoga and co-directed the program from 2014-2017. He also created the signature Current Meditation method and serves as the Meditation Director for Current Meditation, the world’s first meditation franchise. He holds certifications in Thai Massage, Thai Foot Massage, Tok Sen, Gongmaster training, plus thousands of non-certifiable hours studying traditional plant medicines and curanderismo, along with the corresponding sound traditions.
Hamid’s sound classes incorporate a wide range of instruments, including gongs, singing bowls, flutes, percussion, bells, chimes, and reed.
